Three real questions, not a generic maturity-model score: is the process repetitive and rule-based enough that an agent could actually handle it reliably; does the data it needs already exist somewhere reachable (a CRM, a database, documents), or would it need to be created first; and is the manual cost today high enough to justify the build cost. If the honest answer to any of those is no, that's the outcome of the assessment — not a reason to push a build anyway.

Sometimes the right output is "automate this manually-tracked process into a spreadsheet or a simple form first, then revisit AI once there's real volume to justify it" — a smaller, cheaper fix that makes the eventual AI build easier, not a missed sales opportunity.
