Comparison
Tunovix vs. Voiceflow
Voiceflow is a platform for building voice and chat agents yourself, with a real self-serve-or-managed choice built in. Tunovix is the "have it built" side of that same choice — a finished, owned agent instead of a tool to build one in.
| Dimension | Tunovix | Voiceflow |
|---|---|---|
| Price | $1,150–$12,050 one-time build, flat $50/hr | Usage-based billing — no published tier numbers on their pricing page |
| Source-code / IP ownership | Full ownership, delivered to your repo | Not mentioned — built and deployed inside Voiceflow's platform |
| MCP support | Yes — live public MCP server at tunovix.com/mcp | Not publicly stated on their pricing page |
| RAG support | Yes — live at tunovix.com/api/ai-search | Not publicly stated on their pricing page |
| Integrations | CRM, helpdesk, ERP, Slack, Gmail, PostgreSQL, custom APIs — scoped per project | Google Sheets, Zendesk, Salesforce, Airtable, Shopify, HubSpot, Make, Gmail |
| Deployment | Your infrastructure/repo, no vendor lock-in | Multi-channel (voice + chat), hosted on Voiceflow's platform |
| Support model | Founder-led, one point of contact | Self-serve or fully-managed implementation (their own two-tier option) |
| Typical timeline | 2–12 weeks, done for you | Self-serve: immediate; fully-managed: not publicly timed |

"Fully-managed" on a platform vs. a fully custom build
Voiceflow's own fully-managed option is the closest thing on this page to what Tunovix does by default — someone else builds it for you. The difference is what you end up with: a managed implementation still lives inside Voiceflow's platform, where a Tunovix build is delivered as standalone source code in your own repository, usable with or without Tunovix afterward.
Where a voice-specific platform is the stronger fit
If voice is the primary channel and the team wants deep, purpose-built voice-flow tooling (call-flow design, voice-specific testing) rather than one channel among several, a dedicated voice platform's tooling can genuinely be more mature for that one job than a general-purpose custom build. See the customer support agent pattern for what a voice-capable custom agent looks like instead.
